My cities are on fire?

Hello all

Suddenly I noticed that there is a red-edged icon on all of my cities and some campfires around my country. I have sometimes noticed those fires on someone elses country but thought that they were at war or have not been active for ages.

I am not in war and have been active every day since I first signed on this game.

Tried to check the meaning on those fires but didn't find any clue. Searching this forum is a joke and it didn't help anything.

What's the problem in my country/cities, what can I do now to put out those fires?

The fires mean that your 150 days of play time with this hero are coming to an end and apocalypse is coming. You can't put out the fires, unfortunately. 

A quick check of your hero shows you have 14 days left, so if you wanted to do one of the victories (currently you can do wealth, culture or war victories) you have 14 days left to complete them. When your time is up, your country will be wiped and you have to start again. If you start again with the same hero you will get some nice bonuses, though - more each time you complete a victory.

I'm not sure if any of this is actually explained inside the game. Maybe in the Apocalypse Now quest? I think it would be helpful for new players if the 150 day rule was explained when starting up a new hero, maybe?

Initially I was searching for a Windows version of MahJong and this was the number one MJ on some gamelist! I was a little surprised when installing this and found this a very strange "Mahjong" :D
So I didn't read anything, only answered all strange questions asap to start the game to see what it is until I realised this is some kind of realtime adventure game full of puzzles and so on :D
And here we are: I don't know anything and it's very hard to search or even read the Forum.

What happens to my cach if i start over?

If you lose your hero, without getting a victory, you get "defeat compensation" extras.  When starting over, you get a list of the artefacts, from you previous inventory and can choose 3.  The extra 5 you are given, usually need a high level hero, before you can equip them.

Ways to lose your hero, 1. you stop playing and it autodeletes, 7 days, plus half a day, for each hero level. 

 2. you get destroyed, collective players cannot be completely destroyed, as dweilling is protected.  It can be destroyed down to 0 pop and 10 culture, with a 1 cell domain, but not destroyed.  Any other politics, including Chaos, you can be completely destroyed.

3.  You get to 150 days and the apocaylpse destroys your domain.
