It's been around a year since we have been working one way or another
on porting Totem Tribe II: Jotun to new platforms. New platforms are
essential to bring more players into the game and today we are ready to
announce our first results in that direction. We have managed to
create web (browser) of the game which allows to play TT2 in any modern
browser without installation. This means you can play the game on the
following new platforms: - iPad
- MacBook
- iMac
- Android Tablet
- Chromebook / Chrome OS
- Linux Desktop / Laptop
While
the game might technically run on mobile phones, the interface is not
yet adapted to be used on phones, but this is what we are working on
right now. Currently this is soft-release for the web version. We
are providing access for a limited number of players, so if you have any
of the devices mentioned above and want to try TT2 on them, post in the
comments below and state your device - I will send you the link via
private message when there will be an opportunity. If you have already tried the web version, please post your impressions and/or bugs in the comments as well.

Kindle fire 5, with silk browser, a few years old. Got as far as signing in, user name and password, childhood nickname , then loading page. "Page not responding" "Reload" (orange icon, white writing). "Something went wrong while displaying this web page. To continue, reload or go to another page." Next attempt, got about 40% loaded, then as above. Next attempt, got a brief glimpse of the game, before loading screen came up. Got a bit further. Maybe if I keep trying.............it seems to give up, very quickly. Sign in screen does that pixelated thing, for a second. Maybe check options. Resolution 1024 x 720, windowed. Frozen in options. Start over. Only mildy annoyed............. I don't think my tablet will work with the browser. It dosen't seem to have the patience, or maybe the power. Worked on my pc, only resolution 1920 x 937 available, would not go full screen or F11. |

If you need a Linux tester I can run a dual partition for you. I am not playing the game currently though so you will need to email the link to my connected email in your database. Is it fully browser based or will I need to install a tarball? Also, provide a list of items you want tested in detail with the email.
