Defensive alliances too weak or too strong?

Despot alliances do not fight each other. Fact.

Why today should I fight a despot alliance who did nothing to provocate our alliance? (Btw, we already did it twice in last alpha for differents reasons )

Just to give peace to collective alliances and allow them to grow up bigger and bigger and build up on our borders and squeeze more and more my peoples's countries?

Your are placing the cart before the horse. Motives are secondary, so "why" is not relevant. What's relevant is which one is easier and safer. Fighting collectivists is safer and easier, that's why it happens. Fighting despotism alliance with small quantity of players was easier, that's why it happened in A5.

We will add tweaks and tools which will allow defensitve alliances to defend themselves better. I was hoping for a constructive discussion, but looks like majority of defending players are too scared to post here and prefer messaging me in private. Attackers instead of trying to hear my message which i repeated numerous times here already prefer to stoically disregard it and whine about how hard it is to be despotism player which is craftiness to say the least.

3 pages of whining and little to no effort to understand what truly causes despotism alliances to attack collectivism ones, without even trying other significant despotism ones.

Due to lack of constructive input this thread is now closed and players who have the ideas about how to make defensive alliances defend themselves better are welcome to send me a private message. (I emphasized the word "alliances" because defensive players have enough means and it's alliance-wide defenses which needs improvements).
