Do you play this game with music/sound or not? (Survey)

Yes i would agree with you if it was only for shorter periods of time. I really like it when there is musik (or any kind of sound). But in my experience when i play i often think that 'where did the music go' and i have wondered if it had anything to do with my laptop. But you're quite right that it is nice to rest ones ears once in a while :) I loved the nonstop music in the original TT.

i agree.  altho i like to play with both sound and music, it's sometimes good to give my ears a break.   the music is fun and i especially love the cave sounds!  haven't seen many monsters but i wish they made sounds, too.  would it be cheating if you could be able to hear them before you saw them? speaking esp about the ones hiding in the fog.....  wonder what a skeleton would sound like???   LOL

I play with sound on and with the music on low when I am not listening to other music on computer.

It depends on what I am doing in the game. When I am in the caves I always play with sounds and music. It gives the caves more suspense... and makes playing more fun. But outside the caves I usually turn the music low. When I am also doing other things while playing, I turn all sounds off.

I play with sound and music. I do often other things and play nearby, then it's good when I hear that a building is finished. And I like the music.

I usually play with music on, except when my wife and I are both playing at the same time.

Now I know about the spooky music of incoming attacks, I will definitely be keeping music on.  This Alpha is a lot more aggressive, now that the semi experienced (A4 invite) players are mixed in with the expert (A3 and earlier) players.    When you hear that music, you know to stash, build or trade resources away, and have the choice of fight or flee.

No sound at all for any game.  But now that I've read the comments above, I may try the music & sound.

Normally, I play with no music and low sound, but since the music here seems to have a game purpose, will put in on low.  Music can be distracting, but oh well!

I play with the sound on at a low volume. Just enough to hear starting sounds, finishing sounds, etc.

I play with the music a little lower than the regular sounds.
