---------------------------------
Influence of culture
---------------------------------

Nearly every building raises the culture level of your town. A "purple note" is the icon for culture of buildings and your whole town. Be careful some military buildings have a negative effect on your culture!

If you build a new building or upgrade them you also raise or drop the culture of your whole town. If you reach a special amount of culture the size of your domain will grow. At least it means your culture has influence on the cells around your town and brings them to your kingdom.

Culture 0-17: 1 Cell
culture 18-35: 5 Cells
culture 36-53: 9 Cells
culture 54-89: 13 Cells
culture 90-107: 21 Cells
culture 108-125: 25 Cells
culture 126-161: 29 Cells
culture 162-197: 37 Cells
culture 198-215: 45 Cells
culture 216-251: 49 Cells
culture 252-269: 57 Cells
culture 270-306: 61 Cells
culture 306-359: 69 Cells
culture 360-396: 81 Cells
Culture 397-432: 89 Cells
Culture 433-450: 97 Cells
Culture 451-486: 101 Cells
Culture 487-504: 109 Cells

thx @ suncheck

You will see the sum of culture by clicking on your town at worldmap. At the infoscreen below the map there is some information like the sum of your population and the purple note with the sum of your culture.

New Towns
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

To build new towns you need a chieftain hut of level 10 and a gathering point (don't forget to explore Expansion).
At your gathering point you can build a settler (one per level of your gathering point). When your settler is finished you get a new icon by selecting your town with settler inside and so get the option to build a new town inside your domain. But for every new town you need a certain size domain. If you build additional settlers this domain-size will be less 3 per settler.
For example 2nd town needs 1 settler and a domain of 40. If you have 2 settlers you just need a domain of 37 and so on.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Requirement for additional towns
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.Town is for free
2.Town need 1 settler and 40 cells (-3 cells per additional settler)
3.Town need 1 settler and 92 cells (-3 cells per additional settler)
4.Town need 1 settler and 158 cells (-3 cells per additional settler)
5.Town need 1 settler and 220 cells (-3 cells per additional settler)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tip:
You can build a gathering point in your other towns too. Reinforce your settler of other towns so it is easier to reach the needed amout of settlers.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Relationship of near Towns
--------------------------------------------------------------

The influence of your new town will overlap with the influence of your old town. Reach 1 Town a new size your kindom won't grow in this amout because you already have some of the new cells because of your other towns.

At the picture you see black circles, they show us the influence of both my towns. "Knuthood" had same domain as "Cynistic" in upper example, but the domain overlaps with the domain of "Dwelling of knutistgut". When "knuthood" reach the next level, normally my domain would grow from 21 cells to 25 cells for this town, but 2 of these cells already stay at the domain of my maintown and so my whole kingdom will just grow for 2 cells in north and west of "Knuthood"

You also see the Town of Balor, thats another player. The red circle show us the influence of "Dwelling of Balor" and as you see it overlaps with my influence. All cells within this area of my black and his red circle are calculated by distance to the towns and culture of the towns. Some cells count to my kingdom and some to the kingdom of balor. If balor raises his culture or I build some military buildings and reduce my own culture, so maybe I will lose some cells to him.

Another example:

At next picture you see a town with around 200 culture. Normally this player should have 45 cells inside his domain. But this domain is reduced by 6 cells (with red cross) because of the neighbors.

----------------------------------------
Corruption
----------------------------------------

With your 3rd town corruption mechanics will start. Corruption reduces your income and culture 10% per additional town.

Number of towns 1&2: 100% income and culture (0% loss)
Number of towns 3: 90% income and culture (10% loss)
Number of towns 4: 80% income and culture (20% loss)
Number of towns 5: 70% income and culture (30% loss)
Number of towns 6: 60% income and culture (40% loss)
and so on ...

thx @suncheck
