[SPOILER] Heavy metal doors in underwater cave in Dwellings

I start my underwater adventure. I visited secret dungeon in New Kiev. Lately I found underwater cave in my Dwellings with some strange "vault doors". I can opened it (I try to interact with the stone/rock formation  on both side). Can anybody give me some hint what to do?

Another question: how can I stay underwater longer? I hear some gossip about oxygane tank, but didnt found it.

In exchange I can give some hint about underwater dungeon in New Kiev and another place I already found (underwater).

Same here. Can't get the door to open, have tried even tools!! LOL. I have asked several people that have gotten the door opened, but so far it seems to be random. Some guidance would be appreciated thank you.

I tried using tools too.  No luck.  My strength should be high enough to open it but from what I'm reading, that doesn't seem to be a factor.  :-/

Can't open the vault either and have now given up going underwater, as it's no fun at all when you have to surface so often or die. I've tried changing perks, tools, clothes etc and nothing works. So, as  a lot of us are in the same situation and we have had no response to our our questions, for me, this location addition is a let down  and not worth any time spent there. I do, however, thank the Devs for their work on the graphics, even if we don't have time to fully admire them .

Thank you. Overall I don't view underwater as a place that everyone will visit. I view it as something that will add more depth. Imagine yourself being a new player and then getting the diving helmet and being able to dive and suddenly you are able to descend everywhere in any body of water. That would be pretty impressive. Sure 90% of players probably won't see it, but those 10% who do will have a deep impact and will remember it for a long time.

Thanks for the reply.  I think the point is we want to visit underwater and experience all the visual graphics the game has to offer and it's next to impossible without an oxygen supply.  I, for one, really want to explore under water and get to the places in my towns that I can't get to without doing so.  It's not something that I can do with the limited supply of oxygen we have now and that is what I think is disappointing to people. We were all very excited about this new ability and really want to maximize its potential.   Especially since the team went to all the trouble to make it and we want to appreciate all the team has done.

Frustration and figuring things out is part of gaming. If we just get told how to do everything, we would all just whizz through everything and sit there waiting for the next bit of content... It *is* frustrating, but it would be pretty boring if every new challenge came with a walk through! I know the odd hint might be nice... but someone will figure out what triggers it eventually, then the rest of us can pick their brains :)

I still think that it's connected to hero age (in days). My previous hero was quite old when underwater was released.

At 121 days, the apocaypse starts, there are earthquakes, etc.  It seems to be these, that 'unstick' the door.  Perosnally, I don't like the idea, of hanging around that long, without a victory.  Given that the apocalypse originally started at 90 days, maybe this is when the door was supposed to open?

The Apocalypse puzzle, also makes earthquakes, but I guess these are too small?

The message on the door, implies that an action, somewhere, will unstick it, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Without Oxygen, you get 60 seconds underwater.  The 50% warning comes at 30 seconds, 25% warning at 15 seconds left and oxygen low at 7.5 seconds left.  Once you do have the oxygen, no need to equip it, so long as you have it, the extra time is added.  Or so I have been told.

The only way for the hero to move faster, inside a location, is to place the flag long distance.  I call this 'run for your life' travel.  Right click to place flag on nearest bubbles and pray.

Don't assume the end of a tunnel, will lead to air, often it leads to more underwater.
