Where did you catch this - sea or river? I plan to add a new column for the place where you can catch every fish

rise old topic and come back to life.

Got me a fish not listed:

Bream - 800 food

I don't have rivers or sea in my town area so i think the fishing spot is glacier.

Time for fishing is 1h 15 min, using basic fishing rod, location also yielded Dace, Carp and White amur.

PS: i cropped the fish image from game files, i hope it's not a problem.

The following may help refine the table. Sorry I can't always be more specific.

Dace seem to be the default catch in the cold northern lakes and rivers of A5, as Tilapia were in the warm ones of A4. I never caught Dace then, and haven't caught Tilapia this time. However, my heroes have only 1 fishing perk each, and that could be relevant.

Combining my own experience and another player's report, I conclude that Shrimp and Octopus can be found in both northern and southern Seas.

In the north, I have caught Sprat, Bass, Carp, Scomber, and Plaice. I also caught Bass and Carp in the south, but not the others. I frequently caught Anchovy in the south--perhaps only from the Sea--but none here.

My hero w/ no Sea access has caught in the north (besides the ubiquitous Dace) Bass, Carp, White Amur, and Bream. My hero who's fished mostly the Sea here has not caught the latter two types.

Query: In the table, does Big River mean one that allows building a harbor, and all cells are assumed to have local Rivers?

Putting fishing to the test, level 6 fishing perk, pond/lake in main dwelling, maximum ripples, level 2 rod.  Fishing time 2 hour 5 minutes.

Results so far, Carp 200(food value), another carp 200. predatory carp 90.  Will update with further results, so far, not impressed.
