OldGeorge, you and Tererete's stories are not the only ones possible, and there are also alternatives to joining the strong alliance. Even without alliance if your defense is rock solid and you are in collectivism, this will make majority of attackers to skip on you, unless you really get in the way by stealing cells, global resources, or annoying someone. It is really takes a lot of effort to crack up a very-well defended collectivism player using forces of the whole alliance. They would rather do an easier target unless they have some against you.

Nevertheless, the point about "war" is taken and explained, no need to bring it back over and over, only because you it hurn you the most. Read the rule #1 please if you decide to continue on it.

Tererete,

I am always interested in having feedback, but you still haven't listed the things you don't like even after the lengthy introduction :)

Speaking about "it's up to player whether to embrace it or ignore it", I didn't mean you can ignore it by closing your eyes. I meant that there are a lot of people who are not into war that much, they have found a way to avoid fighting and focus on things they like. The usual solution is to join a relatively solid alliance where there are some warriors and the rest are helpers / providers, helping with troops and resources, doing their things and not participating in the war directly. The game provides a lot of means to play the way you want it to play, you just need to be a little bit creative to find that way or make it up by yourself.

No, Tererete didn't state explicitly what she didn't like, berserker, but I know you're intelligent enough to deduce it. However, let me be explicit. In words (literally) of one syllable:

THIS IS A WAR GAME!

If the only way to avoid going to war yourself is to join an alliance where you must constantly support warriors who will protect you, then that merely emphasizes the fact. That's not "creative play", that's war by other means.

Tererete wanted to be in a peaceful alliance (the one left over for me to lead after the previous leader didn't come back) so she could treat TT as a building game. However, an overwhelming alliance went to War with us and she found she couldn't. Again, a simple declarative sentence.

IF YOU'RE ATTACKED RELENTLESSLY, YOU CAN'T BUILD!

Me, I'm still willing to take my chances. I let that alliance spend a week attacking and reducing one of my established heroes while I concentrated on the other, who is now merely a minor supplier to our remaining alliance and will never be able to finish supplying the Wood-based Rude Architect.

And I eventually started a third hero to check out the new-hero arrangements because that interests me.

But Tererete, along with others of my alliance who have quit the game, was not willing to helplessly watch that kind of bullying or to duck out by switching alliances. (Yes, Arya, it IS bullying when you and your cohorts attack someone's hero explicitly because you don't like what the player writes on the forum.)

I will never attack a player just because we exchange some opinions in the forums. I am attacking a player because I am enjoying the PvP aspect of this game , that's all. Calling someone "bully" just because enjoy this aspect of the game is an insult! And I am a little bit sick of yours ! I always respected you.

May i remind you that 5 months ago, i asked you very kindly to remove your hero who was very close to mine? I explained you that my intention was to expand a lot, is my style to play this game, with a lot of towns in order to get more ressources matching with my game style. I told you that is better to relocate, because sooner or later i will attack you. You decided to stay, knowing perfectly your future, instead of restarting another hero. One month ago I have awarned you again to not continue to play with this hero. So, saying that I attacked you beacuse of what you post in the forums few days ago is a lie!  I can understand that is is not an confortable situation, but beeing attacked by another players is a part of this game.

I have posted coments on forums, explaining many times that is better to relocate instead of beeing stubborn, building a big country, spending time and sometimes money and beeing attached of your hero.

In your case , the only person to blame is you and your stuborness! If you have no clue about how this game works is better to go and play Farm Up. Nobody will botter you there, crops will never "bully" you :D

Ok, when I've read the post of Old George I've missed any names, maybe it was slipped through my mind or it was edited later, but since Arya answered, the further arguing must end and the thread continue accoring to it's subject.

Hi Berserker!

I only want you to know that if I wasn't more specific about what I like and didn't like in the game it was because I thought it was clear enough without changing the subject it was being discussed.

I also want you to know that I have always try to be constructive, even if you don't agree with what I think. That someone doesn't like one aspect of the game and point that out doesn't mean he is negative, but that he has a different point of view and want to improve the game according to that.

I have only been playing this game for 6 days. I was threatened that I would be attacked 2 days into playing the game by a nearby player. She has since attacked me 6 times today, and my play time has only been for 6 days. She suggested I play somewhere else, unless I want to keep getting attacked by her. How do you go and play somewhere else? I find it frustrating that it has taken so long to research stuff that by 6 days I did not have any real defense except i hunters hut, 1 hut for the brave and the palisides. If the designers of the game are creating a game that is about war, than it will lose people who just want to play. Yes, this is a game but the design welcomes bullying mentality.

Any game which allows interaction among players welcomes any mentality that is not strange to humans. You are able to defend early attacks just fine. Just focus on building and upgrading more towers, defense should come first. If the attacker will receive more damage than she actually delivers, there will be not much sense in attacking you, but that has been discussed million times, there are threads with very good suggestions of how to defend against attacks:

Hi sisjc!

To "move your hero" what you have to do is delete your current hero and create a new one. If I remember it right, you can do that when you enter the game before you click play, at the left you can create and delete heroes.

If you are already under attack and you don't want to be all the time defending yourself maybe delete and create a new heroe is your best choice. You have only been playing 6 days so you won't lose so much time and maybe you will be in a better spot.

Anyway, either with this heroe or with a new one, the best way to defend yourself is building and upgrading many towers as you can, the sooner the best. Check the link that Berserker posted and also this one:

Good luck and have fun :)

I'm not sure what is going on in my town. I have been playing for about 8 or 9 days. I have a mission to build a palisade in my town, but it's saying it is already built. I don't remember building it and I have searched all over to find one but there is nothing to find. There has been no update to the mission saying that it's done and to talk to Bulat to let him know. Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

Hello Players and Creators!

I'm nearing the end of my first week and I really love this game.  I sleep less now, but it's a small price to pay for so much fun!

I would love to see more information for what is required for advances in game play.  For example, I studied archery and then learned I had to have my hunter building at a certain level.  I will certainly endeavor to learn these things for the future, I just regret a few of my choices in the order I made them as they are put on a shelf until I do several other steps.

The game is truly brilliant and I applaud the team that works so hard to create such an interesting world and game mechanics that are quite mind blowing.  I cannot think of any other game that has combined so many elements of different game genres to such a great effect.

Thank you for this game!

The palisade is the fense surrounding all of your buildings.

There is no fence:( All I see around my buildings are an outline of rocks and what I assume is dirt. There is also no checkmark in the buildings list when I look at it, but it refuses to let me build it. Instead it shows a red circle with a slash and when I hover over it, it says 'You already have this in this town and you cannot build more of the same'. I have no idea what I should do. I normally wouldn't worry about it, but it's one of the tasks I have to do for Bulat. It won't let me move on to the next set of defense tasks until it's done.

Hi! it seems that there is an issue with pallisades and walls. There is another thread who was create about : " says walls exists but it doesnt". So, there is nothing to do now, the devs will fix this.
