Please delete my account

I've tried to contact Enkord a number of times through the contact page (sounds familiar, they never replied to Enkord.com emails either), am hoping this gets someone's attention.

I haven't played the game in over a year and no longer wish to. I'd like my account here deleted.

Thanks.

We don't have such feature, sorry. It's complicated, because there are forum posts, threads, etc. associated with it and deleting the account will break those.

You are welcome to delete my posts too. I really don't understand why this is, every organisation online will either have an option for self-deletion or will remove the account when asked.

Your posts are irrevertable, they belong to the community now since you made them public :) Deleting them would ruin the threads and make forums messy. Imagine player who contributed to the forums a lot and posted in all helpful threads decided to revoke her posts, this would break all those threads and very likely turn helpful threads into garbage.

You made it work on Gunrox forum so I'm sure this won't be a problem for you:))

Speaking about deleting accounts - Gunrox forum uses third party software which has that feature, here it is custom made to be fully integrated with the game. I am not saying it cannot be implemented. We just have more important features to focus on.

Speaking about deleting all user posts of the active user - this haven't been done on Gunrox forums either, you are mixing things up.

I do imagine it; I've asked on a number of other forums before to be removed and they had no problem deleting both my account and my posts. In many cases, yes it broke threads. But they did it because it's my right to request a deletion.

I understand this is custom designed forums, but I think to be honest your customer service attitude sucks. I no longer want an account here and you just shrug your shoulders and say "too bad". I find it interesting that if I posted against your rules I can be banned and removed, but if I politely request a deletion it can't be done.

And this is why I stopped playing in the first place...

PS. You could however try deleting my account on the original Enkord.com forums. (http://www.enkord.com/forum/) Same email address as used here, and hey at least that would be easier to do since it uses vBulletin.

According to our Terms of Service you have agreed, your posts are no longer exclusively yours, this is typical for any forum, this is specifically to prevent players from runining threads:

http://www.enkord.com/help/terms/

Materials you post or provide

For materials you post or otherwise provide to Enkord related to the Enkord Websites (a "Submission"), you grant Enkord permission to (1) use, copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, modify, translate and reformat your Submission, each in connection with the Enkord Websites, and (2) sublicense these rights, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Unless otherwise agreed by Enkord in writing, Enkord will not pay you for your Submission. Enkord may remove your Submission at any time. For each Submission, you represent that you have all rights necessary for you to make the grants in this section.

I dont see why you would post on public forums in the first place if you don't want your messages to be seen. The internet still saves everything, even if something gets removed.

I have deleted your account at Enkord.com though.

Please delete my account too! I have never used my account so I have no posts (except this one) so it will not cause any problem. I created my account in the last year just to purchase a game. I do not need it anymore, so please delete it!

Thanks!
