[Question to players] Do you need more optional quest locations?

1 2

yes, please. more quests locations like dens or anomalies. Fun and challenging.   places to get experience would be helpful to some of us.

Yes, more quest locations please, it would also be easier if we could go from place to place and not back to home. I like the anomalies except for the amount of resources required for bridges. I love  all the puzzles except for the beacon puzzles, they do not like me. It seems like some build  times  take so long, like the  sages so  quests help  with things to do.  I love the game, keep up the great work.

Maybe a suggestion on respawning... how about monsters respawn in a new set of locations only once the location is fully explored/finished or some kind of goal/quest is reached?

Ohh, I like that idea. A reason to go back to a completed location :)

Well, I've already finished all my dungeons, anomalies, caves, quests in karfaree, dens.....all of them are different, each one having a different type of chalenge /purpose. As a despot player, once everything is done, nothing more to build on towns, the only thing to do is to focus on PvP aspect of the game ;((( It's just boring doing that exclusively and it is not that 's why I like this game so much :-)

So, definitely, another type of locations are required. I am absolutely fun of dungeons and anomalies, monster dens are useful , caves are not my favorite sorry, but I think they have their interest.

I would  like something where I can come back over and over again, maybe a mix of dungeons/monster dens kind + a little bit of Karfaree ( but without endless discussions please lol ), where new quests are given by Bulat and /or Zwins ( they are useless in towns lol)  Once dungeons, caves, anomalies are done, there is nothing more to do there, sniff sniff lol ...so, maybe the new location can be available during all the alpha period.  So, in those new locations, we have to go back after "x" days, for another quest to do ( like monster dens respawning) .  One of the part I've liked in Karfaree was that actions in my towns were involved. So, in the new locations, some interactions with our towns would be a nice addition imo ( please let me collect tesla bulbs please .. I would like to use them to kill new monsters type lol ) .

More minigames there too( reseting every 18h types ) ...new decors , new monsters ...definitely something new :))

Yes, I would love more areas to explore. Preferably ones I can go back to multiple times.

Totally agree :-)

I don't think you're going to get anybody saying "no I definitely don't want any more things to do!" I'm pretty sure we're all going to welcome new additions, particularly if they're optional so those who don't want to don't have to get involved with the bits they don't like so much.

I've still got loads to explore that my hero level/ tool level won't let me get to yet, but I'd enjoy any new things that you would like to add to the mix.

That said, the development of the core game and storyline is the most important, so if this is likely to set that back/ delay development and make it even longer until the game is fully developed and ready for commercial release, then I'd say no thank you, I'd rather the core game was developed and we were able to discover the full storyline and develop all of the ages :)

I totally agree with Aluna, that I would not want more random quest locations at the expense of developing the story line. Having said that I really like most of the random quest locations and would welcome more but please can no more be in the dark:) Also, with the hidden objects, if you have to find them in a town to open a chest and are missing some, you can wait for the sleuth to help you find them. In a quest location like the anomalies, if you cannot find objects, then you cannot complete the quest which is really frustrating. Some of us are getting older and playing on a small screen so it is extremely difficult to see these very well hidden things. I would like to see more locations like the dens that respawn, so you can revisit them.

Just a thought, but maybe the hidden items and chests could re-spawn, in different locations of course. That would be different and make it worth our while to go back to quest locations.

The more the merrier :) Love the dungeons!, love the variety! but once they are done they are just a location on the world map. I am suggesting that if I completed dungeon quest, those locations would disappear from my world map, similar to the completed excavation spots. Dens, of course, re-spawn so this would not apply. This idea prevents overloaded world map and quest tab when/if you decide to add additional locations. One thing I did enjoy early this alpha was having such various choices of where to go when I logged on. It was fun. I was also able to choose the monster battle difficulty for my underdeveloped hero. I totally agree with the comments about excessive resources needed to open certain quest locations. I feel I am being deterred ... but that just makes me work  harder :). However please don't require such excess :) And some other locations need to be put aside because of upgraded tools needed to get through obstacles. Although this progression is good it puts a brake on the ability to visit/finish locations. .. .    more locations/quests to visit while waiting on the ability to proceed would be a welcome addition.

I like to go back from time to time in dungeons to try to found some more secrets or check for gems that I've missed...so, maybe only fully completed dungeons might dissapear from the world map, not all of them after the quest is done.

I absolutely enjoy quest locations, all of them, with dungeons being my favorite! I would love to see more of them :) The quests and puzzles are what draws me to TT2 and makes it better than other building/warring games.

I like the idea of more quest locations, but would definately like to see some update regarding the story line. Seriusly, wth is Alta!!! can we get some clues? Or even a new clue about what to do with the medallion would be nice. I really would like not having to go back home to visit another quest. There a re days I dedicate to visit dens/ dungeons , etc, and going back home over and over gets boring even with carpets !  the amounts of res needed for some anomalies have me pushing them to the side, at least for now .

But I appreciate all the hard work that has gone into developing these quests, bring more puzzles and  mini games too :)

This is not a question about story line. Story line requires my personal involvement, while this question is about hiring another level designer, so it's either optional quest locations or nothing. Story line locations would come anyway, but at a slower pace.

In general, I think this game already has a lot of challenges in terms of quest locations, monster dens and anomalies. More quest locations is a choice for developers to make and how they like this game to move in a certain direction. I would like it and would use it, but maybe there's something else possible to develop , that gives a mix of quests and pvp.

How about fighting arena's? No troops, just heroes. 1 on 1 fights. Like the option to send a settler, make the option to build an arena and have your hero fight other heroes there. Some bonus for the hero challenging others would be appropriate, because he/she fight on own territory and has public to cheer.

This could also give more fun for those players that like the pvp part of this game, without harming those that prefere solving puzzles and quests. The quest in this fighting arena could be: gain extra hero stats?

Love all the quest locations!  More would be great.  But more importantly…..  How about selling a magnifying glass in the store, or secreting one in a chest, to help us find the stalagmites?  Similar to what you can attain in Totem Tribe Gold to find missing gems?
