Starting Over After Being Destroyed Suggestion

1 2

Just another thought on the idea of keeping your quest ideas/progress. Maybe you should have a choice to start the tutorial over or keep your quest progress. Then if you want to start the quest and get those rewards, you would have that option and still get your second wind package.

I also agree that it is a great idea to allow a player that is destroyed to keep their inventory and not lose all of the progress made with quests, etc. that represent a large commitment of time and resources.

This idea is a very good one. I also like the suggestion of skipping the tutorial again. It is very boring to do on a second try or hero. If there is a way to determine that you have played before, please try to remove the tutorial.

Yes, I am still checking the forums to see the development of the game.  I am not currently playing but I may come back next alpha, all depends on when it starts.  It is not the game that made me leave.

All these new suggestions are valid ones and will help us for future developments.  Thank you all for keeping this game interesting.

I think we are all on the right track with a better way to restart when destroyed or if asked to move and retain items found or paid for.  If you are collective and destroyed to one cell, there is a long wait for the hero to remove from map, and if deleted, you lose everything. If asked to move, you can slowly and painfully downgrade each building, or delete and lose everything. If there was a way to restart, and retain your items, it would be much less painful. Starting a new domain with that hero should have some head start, and I think the player should be able to choose which level. Can start at the beginning, or classical, or medieval, but never higher than the one being left.  I think starting any higher than that would prove to be extremely difficult. Of course, a lot of the need to move would be alleviated if we were dropped a bit farther apart in the first place.  Best idea I've heard in a long time.

I agree with various ideas . I like for a player to be able to keep their hard earned items, but the possibilty of moving the location of a hero that is doomed, is also a great idea. At the end we all want to find ways to continue to progress and enjoy the game. It would also be very good if after initial hero we could opt out of the tutorial.

Well it looks like there will be a few heros wiped out soon. They will be losing their progress and probably a lot of items collected. Not to mention the items purchased to get them to the level they were.A lot of players are going to quit if this is allowed to continue. Some of us have to work and may not have as much time or the finances to compete with more 'advanced and experienced' players so having to start all over again is so wrong.

Heros twice the size of towns they are attacking???How can a town expect to even stand a chance against the absolutely 'over-kill' amount of troops and so many attacks at once????? Developers, you need to do something about this or new players will give up, some existing players also

The idea being advanced and supported here, is maintaining the inventory, not the research. The research has many things that Bers has explained would be very unfair to their new, tiny neighbors. But the inventory, gives no such advantage, and has overwhelming support here.

At least, items purchased with Enkord Cash should be refunded. Who will pay for this game when they lose all items upon being wiped? Not only is the hero being wiped, but all the money they spent is gone.

They are sort of refunded. We are giving Loyalist Packages to donators when they restart.
