Supporters Key

I have searched the forum but cannot find the required donation to achieve a Supporter's Key.  I have made some relatively large donations, and have not received one.

It's on the donation page:

http://www.totemtribe.com/user/donate/superrewards/

You will receive the key when donation is $30 or more, but you have to be playing the game in order to receive them (I mean, if you made donation before you were invited into the game, the in-game bonuses are not delivered). Judging from your donations you should have been received two keys. Perhaps they were delivered to different hero so you didn't notice?

Or perhaps you have opened Supporter's Pysanka which uses the key automatically per each Pysanka opened, so you used them without realizing. I have noticed the description does not say the key will be used, so we will have to update it.

So in order to the key I have to donate 30.00 to get the key, that seems a little expensive. I have donated but not everybody has 30.00

I agree. I received 2 packages from a friend that donated and thought it would be nice to donate too, so i would get the key and he would get a package from me. But the fact that it's only from 30 up is a bit discouraging for me. I thought you would be happy with every donation.

I think that more people will make a donation to receive a key if it is a little less expensive and that you would receive more donations in the long run. But that's just my way of thinking.

We have to encourage people to spend more :)

Even if this is still a game, we have to keep it up in the marketing department in order to pay salaries and keep the game running and progressing. I think Supporter's Key and Lada's Ward are  good encouragements to donate $30.

I totally understand why you need to encourage people to donate, don't get me wrong. It's nice to play such an awesome game for free and I know that there are people involved and servers that cost money. I get that.

Just for me, I would be more encouraged if I could get more out of a little less expensive donation. But i know, then nobody would choose the higher donations.

After so many Players have issues with this "marketing" program, I just throw away the the xtra Pysanka.  And, I hate waste, but if it can't be used bc of the self-perpetuating cost and only annoys others, what else should I do?

I just heard of what seems an excellent marketing strategy, since I think it would bring even more donations.  If the price of a supporter's key was set at less for a key only, think more would go for it and then more donations.  And, (a big plus for me, at least) no waste.  :)

I like that idea. Apart from the standard donations a possibilty to donate only for a key or a package of keys. That way the presents you get wont get spoiled (and that way also the presents you give are more appreciated) and maybe you will get some more donations from people that normally wouldn't donate at all.

As one of the low budget players, I agree with the idea of a special small donation to buy keys to open the eggs. I would then be able, and willing, to buy keys to open the eggs I receive from other players.

It saddens me to watch them turn red knowing the company is missing out on donations because I cannot afford to spend $30 every time an egg comes my way.

That amount is too much for someone like myself on a fixed income. I would suggest an amount of no more than $10 for each key.

I just received my 1st pysanka & am trying to figure out how to open it.  I have read the forum posts here & understand the $30 donation.  What I am unable to figure out is if the $30 is an all-in-one donation or a cumulative one.  I spend $5 at a time to keep within my budget.  I have spent $30, just not at one time. I will continue to donate in $5 increments.
