Hi, I wanted to ask why do you need to travel from your location back home and then to another location. I mean, why can't you travel from that particular location where you are to the location where you need to go? I don't know, in my opinion , doesn't seem right. Will be possible to change? Thanks :)

It is part of the core mechanic, unfortunately it cannot be changed. Travelling is not free, it requires food to feed troops there and back, therefore all travelling must originate from one of your towns which has source of food. Plus allowing to travel from quest location somewhere else might make it unfair against other platers if for example quest location is in the other player's domain and you are trying to attack him from quest location.

What I'd like would be the ability to travel to a location from one of my towns, and then return to the other rather than the one I left. This would be much less abusable than the full go-anywhere option discussed above.

When traveling from a quest location and returning home they will go to the closest town. You cannot choose where they return to.
