there is supposedly a 12 hour window between truces, either the lada or the ward, but this is not true. we can't launch when the truce is active, even when our arrival time would be when there is no truce active. And when we launch when there is no truce, but we arrive when a truce is active, our armies turn around without having attacked. If our attack time is while there is no truce, it shouldn't matter when we launch.

This is very true - with the continent bigger this alpha and with rafts / brigs times adjusted (so that the army travels with land speed over land) sometimes the travel times go up to 5-7 hours (and even more with destroyer units). If the attack time window starts only after the flag goes down that leaves very little space to coordianate players, especially when they are in different time zones. Usually that means it can be a single attack only - normally that's with siege units, but if the attack is successful in destroying the defenses there's no chance for a follow up with catapults.

agreed... the further the target, the greater the exploit... if
a target with stacked truce proclamations (12h) is more than 3 hours
away (back and forth 6h), it means only one attack is possible for that
attacker inbetween truces for example, extending the relative length of
the truce far beyond of its designed value...

sorry got the numbers off a bit... correct would be: if
a target with stacked truce proclamations (12h) is more than 4 hours
away (back and forth 8h), it means only one attack is possible for that
attacker inbetween truces for example, extending the relative length of
the truce far beyond of its designed value...
