I created this thread to ask several things about the new classical age that for me arent clear enough
1 Is there any stone age building that hasnt got a classic counterpart?
2 What does it means that a building is promoted
3 If we had everything researched, we'd be able to build an new city with only classical buildings without having to build the stone age ones ?
4 Are we able to found towns in other continents? if not will we able to do it in the future?
5 If you downgrade lets say a lv 1 house, you destroy it or get a lv 5 hut?
And finally, not very related but well, 6 is there a max level for heroes in this stage?
1. Only essential buildings have counterpart. Others like petroglyph, unit buildings do not.
2. Promoted version of the building might have slightly different stats than built from scratch on lower levels. This is due to the fact that you invested in building of earlier age. The maximum level of both promoted and non-promoted ones have exactly the same stats. The price of promoted building is slightly cheaper. Basically:
Price of Classical Age building built from scratch = Price of promoted Classical Age Building + Price of equivalent Stone Age building.
3. In theory - yes. In practice - there might be bugs / design mistakes that needs to be corrected.
4. Yes if the other side of the seashore is in your domain. However you will need a special unit which is available in Medieval Age
5. You will destroy it.
6. It is limited by the building again. Around level 30 I think.
