How can one get invited for this game?

if you just make an acocunt does that count? This game looks pretty interesting and i would like to give it a go,
And when will this game be fully released?

Wondering if I could get an invite?  I got the email inviting me to the game, and I am (obviously) logged in, but I am getting a 403 error when I click the link from the email.  :-(  I am looking forward to checking the game out.
