Now you can reach Expansion Victory when your country grows big enough and you reach high nobility titles. Getting StartedYou
man contact in terms of noble affairs is naturally Vertuttiy the Old
Herald. He made you a noble as a part of tutorial and now you can talk
to him if you want to improve your noble title and reach Expansion
Victory. There are 17 noble titles with first two being Commoner
and Noble and last one is God-Emperor (or Goddess-Empress), each of
those above Commoner have different requirements, but in order to avoid
spoilers, just talk to Herald and he will fill you in. New Quests and LocationThe
Expansion Victory adds 4 new quests and 1 new quest location that is
opened at later stages of your victory progress. As always, there are
multiple solutions to the tasks you may be facing when progressing the
victory, so don't feel yourself locked when something looks inaccessible
at your stage of the game. The Expansion Victory in theory is
made technically achievable at any point, so you don't need to create
new heroes, although doing it with the fresh hero would probably be the
smoothest experience. Whether you will be able to fulfill all of the
requirements with your specific hero is another question. CrownsWhen you become Baron or higher, a new category of outfit items would be unlocked - Crowns! Each
title starting with Baron has his/her own crown which can be put on
your hero for vanity purposes. It does not give any stats and does not
affect your head gear, but replaces your hat appearance to make your
hero look majestic. When your hero reaches victory or is defeated, the
crowns are taken away so in order to get them again, you will have to
reach higher nobility titles again. Town Requirements & MarriageThe
main idea of the Expansion Victory is having more and more towns, up to
at least 16 for the highest title, however while technically possible
to have 16 towns with a single hero, this is hardly an enjoyable
experience. That's where marriage comes into play. For the sake of
Expansion Victory requirements, the towns of your spouse are counted as
your own, thus if you are married, having 5 towns and you spouse has 4,
it is treated as if you and your spouse both have 9 when Herald would
check the requirements. Essentially this turns Expansion Victory
into co-op victory where it is best to go for Expansion Victory in
pairs, because reaching higher nobility titles unlocks more and more
marriage bonuses which are quite powerful. Additionally, in this
update we have almost lifted limit on number of resources received by
wife from husband. Normally this is 20% of daily income from regular
player, but from husband wife can receive up to 100% of her daily
income. Herald's InkwellNow as Vertuttiy was finally
updated to serve his role properly, we have also implemented Herald's
Inkwell item properly which allows to customize your crest better. Price IncreaseSince
Cash Shop introduction in 2013 for more than 12 years we have never
increased prices in this game despite the inflation and turbulence in
global economy and difficulties in our local country. We have tried to delay it for as long as possible, but now we are sad
to announce price increase on some of the items sold via in-game Cash
Shop. This is a harsh but necessary step to ensure the game servers will
stay online for the foreseeable future, critical bugs would be fixed on
timely basis and some kind of new content would be added. We hope you
would understand. On a positive note now you will be getting 2x more VIP prolongation time per $ spent than before. Also we have nearly halved the price of Trommel and Army Standard.

Looking great, so far. A lot of towns needed, so thought I would share this, there is a penalty for settling too many towns, too quickly. Monarchy has a bigger allowance, than Despot, due to the nature of the politics. Sir Fred Towns, only have resources, fishing spots and underwater bubbles. https://www.totemtribe.com/talk/guide-expansion-and-amp-new-towns

i don't mind the price increase, what i mind is that when VIP level is higher, the length of VIP status gets shorter and shorter. any new VIP level should put us at the maximum. what would be even better, if we could buy something (for a reasonable price) to activate our existing VIP level for maybe 24 hrs or 12 hrs and not lose the VIP level at all! This is done in other games and it works great! People are much more willing to pay for that! the amounts might not be big, but the quantity of people using it will be much greater.

Vidame needs 7 towns and a church or Cathedral in each. All 5 of my towns have it and Wife has says she does too, but requirements not met. So it seems I need 7 towns of my own, with Churches. NEW INFO, been told Six works, but I am Fredded and waiting 2 weeks, in hope of settling normal towns again. I have enough coins (bought a 10 pack, to go with the 8 I had left). It refilled my VIP time, so was convenient. Male hero Artos As I am playing Despot, I am trying grow my domain, before settling more towns. I hopped for a better spot, for town 5, a hop was Sir Fred, then permanent town built after, Little Ted, is also A Sir Fred town. Sammy, I almost missed your point. If One Spouse gets the victory, where does that leave the other, a few towns short? Can they get victory, simultaneously?
Edited 1 hour, 27 minutes later by Stitch.
Reason: Sammy's point, New info Six towns.

Know your nobility, a simple cut and paste collage (Paint), for the earlier levels. Noble is 0 coins, then 2, 4, 6, etc
Edited 23 hours, 20 minutes later by Stitch.
Reason: More info Noble does not need coins..

If they progress the titles simultaneously and one is willing to wait for another, they can reach the victory together.

You have to enter each town with the Church/Cathedral and wait in it a couple of seconds for the game to "register" that requirement. This is the problem with pre-existing kingdoms before the update. For new kingdoms newly built churches would "register" in time so there should be no such problem.

When a hero finishes, it counts as divorce? Maybe during the divorce period (7days?) they can still count the spouses towns, until the paperwork is finished. It would give a little wiggle room, in case the surviving spouse has forgotten a step.

There is a wiggle room. The step from Emperor to God-Emperor does not have town requirements so the last step before victory allows both spouses to reach victory after they both became Emperor/Empress.

Marriage requirements. Also recently found out, you can change your outfit, when you are reinforcing another player. Ring needs to be in inventory, does not need to be equipped.

Upgrade of price can be understood. Now double price is , well, quite a lot all of a sudden. Most were half than now. Just a pity salaries have not grown same, as well pity living cost has got up so much at the same time. Was spending, somehow more, more often. Now, with such prohibitive prices for a mere tiny speed up, wise ones do not even dream of spending a penny on them. Better be patient. Would be fools not to. Think I was getting not wise at all. Really a pity the increase is so high (double) from a day to the other. Now, thank you very much to remind me to be wiser. Just wish you not to kill the gooses that lay the golden eggs. A minister advised a king to get penny from the poors because they were more. And he did great, increasing kingdom income. Now, the boss is right The boss is always right I surrender :)))

Error with Marriage bonuses. Artos Viscount, wife Phyllis Landgravine. My wife came over, both heroes in dwelling. Married 26 days. Stats show "Marriage Bonus Activated" The hero bonuses worked, maximum load 615 + 26 (641), health Health 860 + 130 (990), attack 235 + 26 (293, more than expected, maybe it's 26% and not 26?), armour 98 + 26 (124) and army max load + 26%, showing in stats. The town bonuses, however, did not. They were shown in the stats, but not applied? Storage Bonus 26% (no change), Lumber income 26% (stats 26%), food income 26% (plus 25% boost (hors) shows 46%) not applied, culture + 52, (no change)

attack 235 + 26 (293, more than expected, maybe it's 26% and not 26?),
It's +26 to base attack, but if you have other perks that increase it, like weapon mastery perks or artifacts, they increase base attack, thus resuting attack will usually be bigger than 26

Town bonuses applied, but were not always shown in town. Fixed now.

ARTEFACTS for quests Some quests need you to have enchanted, enhanced, rare, legendary or Godly artefacts. You can enhance artefacts at the enhancement idol, have 6 enhancement perks and use 1 crystal per go, is the most efficient way. If you run low on the right crystals, have 6 crafting perks will give you a 49% chance of crafting better crystals, with the crafting idol. You can also give artefacts, to the idol of disassembly, to get ores and crystals. Needs the perk disintegrated, in strength category. If you do not have a pagan circle in a town (has all the idols) you can find crafting inside cave, in Opposition Hideout, enhancement Idol in keepers village and disassembly idol in Ruins of New Kyiv.
