Text Notifications?

I was wondering whether there could be a txt notification option possible in the future? I'd be happy to pay a small amount to get a message that "Research complete", "you're being attacked", or "building completed" prompting me to log back in to TT2 and act.

We do have SMS support for account protection for donators, but the problem with it - the service is not very reliable - sometimes messages are delivered on timely basis, but sometimes it may be delayed significantly and even lost. Using more reliable service is either too expensive or too much of a hassle (using different services for different countries, etc). Developing a separate mobile application for this is even more complicated for such a small team like us. Maybe if the game will become successful we will make mobile version some day.

Ok I understand. A late or missing message would be fatal, especially if one relied on it. I live in hope for the future then :-)

Some programs use the icon in the system tray to show progress information.  Would it be possible to have the TT icon show a mark when there's a high-priority message waiting?
