Changes in Diplomacy statuses

Is a change from War to Neutrality supposed to show up on the All and/or Alliance tabs of the Alliance display, the way a PEACEPACT does?

So far, it does not.  If a war declaration lapses you will see orange borders one day as opposed to red ones.

"Lapses"? Automatically after a certain time, or after a certain time w/o an attack, or what?

After 7 days (to the minute) with no attack (from the date and time of the last attack) between alliances at war, the declaration expires.   (7 or 8 days, iirc)

Also i will add that the attack must be onslaught, plunders will not count towards the war status. I am not sure if there needs to be damage to buildings or not though.

That's correct, as you do not need a declaration of war between alliances to plunder.  Thanks for adding that, as I had forgotten to mention it.  :-)
