Ittt It occurred to me ... are you trying to encourage people to "fight"? The placement of new players close to despots seems to indicate that is the case. Please, some of us really respect those who want to fight, but we don't want to. We enjoy some of the other aspects of the game. You have already driven away some players and possibly others. Make this a warfare game if this is the direction you want to go. So many other fun aspects of this game ... sorry if I have to leave because I am driven out by aggressive players (much to your encouragement) ... PEACE!

uumm thats kind of part of the game is to go around and fight other people. thats why we have achievements and victory goals that are made purposely for fighting people... i spent a entire alpha not fighting people.. then the next alpha. well that didnt turn out well for alot of peoples towns that was DELETED and rendered OBSELETE

So I guess you don't plan to change anything. No problem. It just seems it might be better to place the despots together in spots and let them enjoy fighting each other, not bullying the newbies. I did look up other discussion, and was hoping for a change to your strategy. Again, no worries if this is how you want to proceed. It is your game after all ... lol.

well i do admit the following: Berseker you make this huge ass map.... and then next thing we know. most people starts within 5 cells of each other, extremely limiting any potential growth, leading many to create more then one hero, to try to find a decent place on the map. You should try to recode the system to place new heros further away from each other. that what would help reduce this issue the player is having

As a new player to this game and forum I must say that I am a bit disappointed at the attitude of some of the more experienced players. If this is the way things are going here I will leave fast.

This game is about the distribution of limited resources (eg. land) over humans with unlimited wants, and exposes the instincts of humans very nicely. In the real world, we have money to distribute products throughout the populace, but in this game, without money, this is the natural result. Spacing players further apart would do nothing to help.
