Took this from my thesaurus and they are other words that can be used instead of Age with notes to help decide which word applies best for what you want to portray.

aeon, age, cycle, date, day, days, eon, epoch, generation, stage, term, time.    Note:- epoch applies to the beginning of a new period marked by radical changes and new developments - while era applies to the entire period; age denotes a period identified with some dominant personality or characteristic and period pertains to any portion of time.

i would vote for era since when we will develop like stone to future etc (i dont really know) era would sound way too cool

stone is too common

epoch is kinda um you know

era sounds the best

I think you're on the right track sticking with terms that are commonly used rather than being accurate.  I think you are fine using Age or Era what ever works best for you... people will understand.

I think “Ages” works as an overall term. But if you are going with that, I would really try to come up with a name for each age that uses “Age” in the name. It would really help non-native speakers. And then you could abbreviate them consistently (Dark, Stone, Medievel, etc.) And I think using “Antiquity” as a name for one of them is problematic. It is confusing, since the other Ages all correspond to a well-known age. Maybe: Dark Age Stone Age Bronze Age Medieval Age Enlightened Age, Industrial Age, Information Age, Space Age, End Age

Antiquity is not a well-known? Then how do you call an Age when ancient Roman Empire was prosperous? We were designing our antiquity inspired by Ancient Rome. I think Bronze Age ended by the time of Ancient Greece. The idea to have "Age" everywhere is good because it will be consistent, but I am not sure if we will be able to find recoginzeable alternatives to Antiquity and Renaissance, I thought it is pretty well known words.

The word Antiquity is pretty well known but it is used as a generic term essentially meaning really old.   Technically it is any time before the Middle ages.  A possible substitution might be Classical Age defined as:

"Classical antiquity (also the classical era, classical period or classical age) is a broad term for a long period of cultural history centered on the Mediterranean Sea, comprising the interlocking civilisations of ancient Greece and ancient Rome, collectively known as the Greco-Roman world."

Classical Age might be good. They call it that way in Civilization after all. If Classical Age vs Antique Age is better for native English speakers, I guess we better stick with that one.

Era and age work well , maybe Age works better overall i think, and antiquity is used more as a general reference in common English and not known as a set time period for example  " back in the mists of antiquity "

i think that we generally refer to the time of the romans as the middle ages not sure if this helps at all.

Middle age is medieval, AFTER the Romans:

I agree that using something other than Antiquity might be a good idea, but if you're modelling ages after real history then it would be better to use the proper definitions or at least stick as close as possible to commonly used terms.

Yeah, indeed we are modelling them after real history. Here in Ukrainian Antiquity is a common term for those ages, hence I've made a wrong assumption it is a common term in English too. We will definitely change it to Classical Age if it's common term. Is Renaissance Age common enough or it should be changed too?

Renaissance is fine  and yes early middle ages was the fall of the roman empire  so classical may be a better name for the whole age.
