Just a few things to write down before I forget about them...
1. Tutorial addition: it would be good to have Gromus point out the detailed battle reports during the first mushroom battles. They are very useful but it took me a while to realise that they were there. The dendrogs wiped the floor with me a few times before I figured out how to see what had happened.
2. Warning of wasting speedup items: with research, hero experience and training, you can only use speedups for 1/2 the required points. Sometimes I forget whether or not I've already done this, and run the risk of wasting a speedup if I try to use it. Currently it only tells you after the fact. It would be nice to either have a warning before deployment if the speedup will not have an effect, or indicate on the progress display how much progress has been by speedups and how much by the normal way, so you could work it out.
3. Duplicate one-use random items: armor and weapons found randomly are great, but not so great when you already have the same thing in your inventory. I understand that you can't transfer them between characters - actually I like the random variation in character abilities and appearance that this restriction gives. Finding duplicates though is annoying and useless - perhaps something else could happen if you find a copy of an item that you already have in inventory, e.g. some tech points or exchange for a consumable item.
4. Default costumes: ok this is a really trivial thing, but could all the default starting costumes consist of both tops and bottoms so we don't have people running around in their smalls? :) :) ;)
