Better friends list

Today, while I was training for Halloween, by eating pumpkin pie, I realized the devs don't have enough to do for the game, so, to help, I came up with a suggestion to increase their workload (no thanks required, I am just doing this out of kindness).

Currently our friends list is visible only from the site (if it is also in game i did not manage to find it) and it has a few issues.

I added to friends all that i found around me on map and all that i traded with, and so far only one went for mutual.

1. It would be nice if we could also see people that added us so that we can chose to reciprocate.

2. Some of the towns/players around me were purged for inactivity, but they are still in my friends list (no reciprocation from them) but still, it would be nice if the friends list would show last activity for friends, so we can clean the list from the ones that are no longer playing.

Now that I managed to give you something to do (again no thanks required), it's time to return to my pie training.

Pretty sure this is already part of the big UI overhaul the devs are working towards.

So as with most things we want in this game. You just got to wait patiently for the devs to get it done.

Waiting is not a problem, I understand the difficulty of their task, so I am not rushing them.

I am just posting so others can add their opinion on this and provide the devs with some feedback on the wants and needs of players.

Well if that was your intent then you need to start reading through the forum because everything you have mentioned here has been brought up before. No need to start new posts for old ideas.

Some of the posts i read have the last reply 1-2 years ago, lots of players, myself included, were not part of those posts, and additionally game has changed. No posts for so long means they are dead topics, and usual netiquette is not to revive dead topics. So, I don't think some fresh feedback is a bad thing.

You got a bit defensive for no reason, I don't think my meager posts caused such a load on the server that they became a bad thing. Besides, Berserker can remove them at will if they cause clutter.

 I just meant go ahead and revive old post, because lots of other peoples opinions already in there. I did not get defensive. it is refreshing to see revival to old topics, just feel you left out the ones who started them by not reviving old post.

Old posts here are not dead topics, we add to them all the time to flesh them out. Not sure what netiquette you are referring to.

ok, i will revive from now on, i started a new one because on other forums i got warns for revival, but since berserker said its ok i will get my necromancy skills back on.
