Electricity and warfare

I like info age warfare, but I think there is a bit of problem concerning electricity, I have main building level 9 and hydroelectric power station level 9, both producing all the time, no corruption, and I only produced my bombers in 11 days, no building nothing, just producing planes, no bombers either, one town without corruption, with the help of hydro (it's a big research and it costs a lot of oil, to produce that little) and 11 days of production day and night, to have those planes, same days to train their bombs, and to lose them in one battle because town has few towers  :)))

I really think we should review electricity production, I don't mind spending more resources on it, we have plenty, but I thik info age warfare is diminished, not talking about submarines fights that do not exist at all (there is a lot of strategy there if it was possible)

Berserker said a few times that it's normal that information age isn't much better than previous ages, even possibly weaker. And personally, without donating, over a few weeks I was able to have batteries level 18 (some even using wools) in all my towns because I had nothing to do of my electricity anymore (5 nuclear missiles inside their silos level 10, 30 atom bombs, 30 stealth bombers, many stealth fighters, special agents (they don't use electricity but their building do), all that was ready), without the hydro, weeks before the apocalypse, so it's not impossible at all, it just require a lot of patience, it's not like in stone age where you can train hunters in 5 minutes.

I agree that the submarines have wasted potential though, like other things in the game.

Here is the list of how to produce more electricity, I hope it's complete but if it's not I'd like to hear what I missed. In no particular order:

- use all your wools on batteries, so you have lower battery levels for the same amount of storage but cheaper, wools are much better used for electricity than for lumber/stone/iron storages.

- use uranium on nuclear plants, if you want to have nuclear missiles at some point destroy the nuclear plants as late as possible.

- be in monarchy to have little to no corruption, it doesn't matter that because of it you will have little to no towns able to make the hydros it's still much better. It also reduce the number of pylons needed since your towns are close.

- use your coins only when the wheel allows you to get electricity, and if you have pagan circles: use your coins in the town that rewards the most electricity.

- use blueprints on all you can: power plant, hydros, courthouses if they still help, and mostly the thermal power station. If you don't have enough blueprints, produce them with the innovation studio (obsolete it only once you don't need more blueprints)

- if you still research technologies, you can use the building that allows you to reduce the electricity used in research, I don't remember exactly but, if say you research at 54% and that building allows to reduce by 4%, you can reduce electricity to 50%. Or you can remove electricity completely and research slowly at 4% for everything except electricity.

- research the global resource that gives +25% to electricity, and link it to the right town, I don't remember if the best is a town with 2 uraniums and 1 of those or the opposite.

- use items that boost 25% electricity only once you have you buildings to max level for maximum efficiency. To get more of those items, kill monsters with the "craft item" perk at level 6, along with artifacts that also give "consumable find chance" and "+1% to get a double of that item".

- you said you lost all your planes: overall, it's better to get the biggest army possible to attack rather than attack early, so you lose less units.

- don't upgrade the information age wall, it's only a little better than the industrial one anyway.

- wife no longer gives bonus to electricity production, but just on second title so very easy to reach you can get bonus to storage, that might help, just be careful that she doesn't return home too early, because if say you are full of electricity with her and she comes back home, a lot will be destroyed. I think the amount of storage bonus works as follow: if she is more than 300 cells away from you, you will get just 1% so it's not good, if she is less than 100, you can get 1% storage per day up to 100% after 100 days, and if she is something between like 200 cells away, you can get up to 50% after 50 days. And if you are the wife, you can ask your husband if he donates to give you some +25% bonus items. I don't remember if some holiday items would help too.

- if you want to make a nuclear missile but you're not in hurry, let the silo level 1 to save electricity, you will get the same missile after 20 days.

- keep in mind that moving some information age units cost some electricity. They cost only food when not moving.

- if you have a nice neighbor, connect your grid to his so he can give you electricity.

- some artifacts give bonus to electricity production where your hero is.
