From the neolithic to the far future? AWESOME!

"From Sticks and Stones to Gunpowder and Nuclear Fusion"  When I read that plus saw the tank and the WWII or Vietnam era (or just plain modern era) soldier, I was happy that you guys did the whole time periods from stone age to the far future, which I was guessing and hoping that you were doing.

Also, the female version of Jack of Swords looks great, though not QUITE as evil looking, then again, maybe it's her sexy charm or something, lol.

Yes, you were the only one who guessed it. How did you managed that? :)

Heh, thanks. For one, I've played the Civilization series (Civ2 to Civ5) and the tech tree and the roman era units had me wondering whether you were doing time periods. I didn't know how far you were going though. That and I looked at the about screen through the link at the top of the page.

Really though, the screenshots with the roman era units and the galleon were the major clue which got me to wondering about the time periods and I kept thinking of the Civilization series style tech tree which is separated by era. In hindsight, the 19th century scene and the far future scene on the Guardian Moon could have been clues since there was a comment about the guardian moon, but not sure if I consciously took those into account.

Edit: the formatting is being a bit screwy for some reason since I copied and pasted.

Wow, you are quite a detective! I had no idea, someone is collecting my clues so carefully :)

I wasn't really collecting the clues, more like the screenshots and your talk of technology, civilization building (sortof) and the tech tree reminded me of the Civilization series and got to wondering whether you were doing the tech tree Civ style with different eras and since I saw you had roman units and a galleon, I was wondering how far ahead in technology you guys were going.

Hopefully the buildings can upgrade looks to match the era. :D

Since you will be able to fight your "neighbors" is it possible for my cavemen to be fighting someone from 20th century? If so I will be sunk and concurred.

Yes, it will be possible, but its all about compromises. If you want your country to advance technologically, you will have to put a lot of resources into research and after a long time you might end up with something like 1 tank. One the contrary someone else been investing into army right from the start and he will have hundrends of cavemen and I don't think 1 tank will be able to defeat hundreds of cavement units in this game.

Ofcourse judging from american history in read world one man with gun can defeat a lot of people without guns, but in this game it won't be that simple, cause the game has to be balanced. So don't worry, spending everything on technology here won't be the single winning strategy - there will be verious way to play and build your country, science is only one of the many.
