Is there a log that shows speedups used?

Hi there--- trying to discover if there is a report log of what speedups i have used in my game.... I just used (i thought) an 8hr speedup on a 5 hour build, which cost me 4000+ coin, but still left me with almost 3 hrs left on my build. I wanted to check a log of used speedups to see if I made a mistake or really did use the 8hr one. It happened at approximately 6pm pdt....

Help!  Please and thanks! =)

Check your inventory.  Sometimes I experience a lag between the purchase of a speedup (on the fly while building) and it goes into inventory without being used.  :-)

Watch when you use the speedup boosters, many of them only allow up to half of your build time to be sped up.  Using an 8 hour speedup on a 5 hour build would only take 2.5 hours off the build time.

However thats not the case with building speedups. You can spend your books as you please and the full time reduction will be aplied as long as the building time is the same or greater than the speedup (You can use a 2h 30min to insta-build a 2h 30 min building)

Alright then, I will assume that it's a bug. So, BUG ALERT. Possibility of Error when using building speedups...you might not get the time reduction you paid for. I believe there was at least one other time i experienced that. Both times I believe were when purchasing / applying the 8 hr  speedup.

Also-- having SOME kind of notification would really be a helpful addition. something similar to when you say, finish a building upgrade or train a unit, and the notification shows up in the chat thread.

Frankly, I not very fond of notifications cluttering the chat thread. It could use its own section.

no misunderstanding here... i used an 8hr speedup and it didn't give it to me. it's happened at least twice. and yesterday, i had a road build going, and i used the 60min speedup twice and then my build completely disappeared. no road finished... coin spent. FAIL. =P

I totally agree--- i think a seperate section would be the better option... the noti in the chat thread would be the easiest simple fix tho...

Did you build the new section of road near another section or out from a town? if not then the road will not show until you connect it.

Also as someone who uses build speedups all the time I have never had one give incorrect time or fail to work. The only thing I have to pay attention to is when I am using one and the ask friends to help option is available, because then they are all moved down one in the list.
