What happens when you become land locked? I am surrounded by folks that have played for a lot longer than I have and they are getting the extra resources like fur, marble and the such. It makes it seem futile to even continue playing. Yes I am whining right now, even across the water there is nothing to get. |

Sometimes we just find ourselves in a bad spot. I have two heroes that have small pieces of land. At the same time, I have one hero that has lots of expansion and resource possibilities. If you would like, you can create another hero and hope to get a spot with some land expansion space and resources. It is all pretty much luck where we end up. |

Sandy Sue you may have resources that you don't know about. When you learn a new tech it will uncover the associated resource. I know that I have an Elephant in my domain because I've been told, but I cant see him yet because I am only researching the appropriate technology at the moment. You could have wine, copper, elephants or the best yet - silk. So don't give up on your hero keep going with it and start another hero you may end up in a much better space :)

Or you can use catapults to destroy your heighbor towns and free some space :) It's just in this version of the game that there is not much stuff to do except expanding, when the game will be more complete having more towns won't always be necessary. |
