question of a new player

Hello everyone.

I am a new player in this game and I am stuck with the fishing rod mission (Fisher with no fish).

I read the "Game tips and hints - some SPOILERS", I have the float, the rod and the fishing hook but I could not found the reel.

That says it is in a locked chest in heralds home, but I have already opened both chests and did not find the reel.

you went behind the thorns at Heralds and opened that chest? The reel is in there.

I have opened the red and blue door chests but i could not find the reel (I opened them few days ago)

Tuey meant a different chest - it's behind some thorns in the SE of the map, near the Idol of Repair.

The thorns are quite difficult to notice. If you have already removed the right ones you will have found the idol of repair in Herald's Home, and there is a chest very near to the idol. The weeds/ thorns that need to be removed to get to the idol and the chest are quite near to the entrance area/storage tent. The weeds are to the right, amongst the trees, and they lead the way to an area in the south east of the map.
