Shop and Cash prices

Is it me, or have either shop prices or cash prices recently gone up dramatically? 

I've only made one $5 donation so far, and somehow that was enough to level up my hero from ~22 to 31, meaning I must have bought close to 20 figurines of enlightenment. Mainly decided to donate because the figurines worked out to $0.20 a piece. 

However, I just wanted to donate another $5, but for that you get 5000 cash, and a figurine is ~1000. So the figurines are $1 a piece, not $0.20. 

Am I just misremembering things? I am so confused!

Oh I didn't know that! That's some bonus, then. If I'd known, I'd have spent more on my first donation.

As it is, I don't think I want to spend $3 just to go up one level...

the bonus was 10K Enkord and another 10K Enkord in random items
