Hi! I am the leader of Carpe Diem.

It seems that the message had been lost... No one in my team ever complain about BF attacking us (even if it's an unfair war and a Vendata lol). Actually Kutuzow brought rational and provable facts about the game. And as usuall, some players get very emotional and it goes everywhere. All that had been brought about the attacks, build borders and this post is true. Facts.

In another subject, BF is playing in a very unique way this game and that is why I left that alliance. It was all against my values. When people are calling others crazy, stupid, and go all together over a player by intimidating him/her, etc. and act like haters and trolls, this is not just a game anymore. It's call psychological harassment in my country.

And maybe you all forget that this game is for everyone. I have a 11 years old player in my team and I cannot believe that he assist at all that. 

Of course, only those from the "big alliance" reply here. No one from a collect alliance and no other little like mine will, because they know that they will be the next target to be attacked.

True Jade! And I left for some of the same reasons. Unfortunately we are not open to any other ideas here it seems. Because we want the game to continue, even with all of it's faults, we say nothing about problems we encounter.

I don't understand why this thread is still open. Other than some of Kutuzow's and Dbarns points everything else has being asked and answered multiple times, People just need to take some time and search the forum.

The rest its just boring drama. Please close this thread at it serves no purpose other than people draining the forum with their emotional replies. 

Everyone has the right to post in here, but it should be with the purpose to fix bugs or ideas to improve the game.  The devs have worked very hard to make this an enjoyable game and have made changes/improvements based on suggestions geared towrads improvements and those who have been here for many years can attest to that including me.  Please lets keep personal emotions and drama away from here. We already have it in cc .

Just do like frozen and "let it go"  :)

Your comment on the tech tree. I agree 100%. Rush rush rush to the next age to get minimal advantage vs prior era. This is not just for units tho, it's everything. Units, buildings, resource production, etc. And yes, Units become MUCH more expensive with a minimal gain vs prior eras if any gain. I personally would love to see a better balance and upscale for each age on everything.

But again, with that said, you can EASILY defend with the same amount of heros and win on defense. It's literally that easy. As you have witnessed defense already with your attacks. Regardless if they're 1v1 or 1v30 as you claim. 30v30 is just as possible. And your alliance should work together, you will see a huge difference. I thought i taught your leader better than that.

First, I just add my 5 cents to the tech tree problem. In my opinion units in later era should have higher health points and also much more bigger difference in armor.

Now we have the situation, that the big cruiser (amour 13)  have only a little more armor  then Armored car (11) in my opinion it should be more like with Broiler Dragon (armor 140) or even more. It will be stop the situation where 10 ancient boat can sink the new tech boat, just because they have power in numbers (nothing with level of technology)

It is the same (for example) like in the battlefield 20 crossbowmen meet 1 tank. They should lose badly….but there they have chance to kill tank with no problem. The tank should have so big armor, that prevent to be killed by “ancient” units (like legionary or crossbowmen), and be vulnerable only by units from max 1-2 previous era.

That will give us more realistic battle, and also prevent from “stacking” army from stone era to modern era in one attack (like it is now). Because now…even the brave or legionary or first ram, can give the final hit to modern unit. With new (more realistic) HP and armor parameters, there will be obsolete (like now we have obsolete some building after the time).

We still have the 30 days rule…so that will give more pressure for technology grown (not only area grown (for the global resources) like now. Because for now…you can send 30 rams with 30 catapults and it is added simply to many units from another 15-20 or 30 player). With realistic units parameter, real power gives only that people who care about technology.

Secondly:

I agree with what you wrote –that is multiplayer game. In theory everything you wrote is OK….but in reality look at the numbers of players on one server “country” (like Abenia). Look how many alliances have more then 15-30 players with some real firepower (you must taking in account 30 days rule) and at the end you have some “oligopoly” few big alliances and some smalls as a easy pray. This game is not so popular, to have hundreds of new player. Look that most of You know from years and start to “marinate in own souse”. So in reality there is no so much new player to build another 2-3 alliances to make “counterweight” to “old” alliance (which are playing together like BF+ BF2 +FF).

BF and BF2 are the same, BF2 are just other hero’s of same members. The game mechanics do not allow the same player to attack with multiple of their own hero’s, only one of their hero’s is allowed to attack same target in a 24 hour period. So in reality, It’s just BF main members and we are not 30. Even with help from FF, still not 30.

Bers added this mechanic so we could not attack with multiple of our own hero’s since we are allowed to make 5. 

And yes, I find it very silly that ancient era galleys are able to destroy modern ships. Crossbows destroys tanks, etc. As I have already said, I agree 100% and really hope there is a change and better balance to the units, buildings and resource production. And imo the only real reason to rush science is to get bombs, the most unbalanced thing in this game. Completely overkill and no defense leaving any target helpless. 

But anyway, this has all been brought up multiple times in many threads all across this forum. Just beating a dead horse really. I do agree with the math and changes and hope there can be a better balance.

Constructive comments!  Thank you!  I agree completely with the comments about the units, especially when you factor in the cost of the buildings and units themselves in later eras.  The relative lack of benefit is far outweighed by the huge increase in cost both in building and training and food consumption.  (The same thing goes for the resource production plots-huge cost to build for less than 100 extra food per plot in later eras).

I also want to spam. By sabzh. The claim of an attack of 30 players on one is not entirely relevant as 30 players can stand up in defense. If you are attacked by a large number of players and you cannot put the same amount in defense against your alliance, then this will mean that your alliance is weak. In general, this is the problem of "Zerg" (the game in the large community of players is obviously more than places to win.) And also the problem of lack of common victory. The game has a lot of problems, but they are not at all what you have identified here.Regarding units, a small difference between units from different eras is not bad. This means that the scientific leader will not honor himself comfortably enough and will not be able to attack with impunity. This is called balance. This means that one player scientific leader will not be able to kill many lagging players at once. And this brings us back to the problem of zerg.

(I am being ironic, of course., moving forwards is always the best way to go. unless advising ppl to stay behind just makes it easier to attack… was that the idea? :P)

Reading the relevant posts and not the useless posts on this thread you will see that it was simply a comparison to older age tech vs new age tech and how there is not much of a significant increase in anything. Really not sure how you got the idea that anyone at all is suggesting stay in lower ages, but hey, to each their own lol.
