So what was bugged about building population cost?

Just curious. What was the thought process behind the recent tweaks to some building's (knowing what buildings got tweaked would also help) population cost?

Because I don't remember seeing/hearing any complaints about population cost before. So this change come completely out of left field from my point of view.

OK really? Food production buildings not having a population cost was a bug?

I was always under the assumption that the lack of a pop cost was intentional... Guess not :/

Still would have been a bit nice if we had gotten even the slightest heads up about that fact before you made that fix though.

This is an alpha version of the game and we had (and will have) way more significant changes when necessary. The game balance is far from being good so expect such things to happen often. If you are so sensitive about such minor changes, maybe you should wait until more stable version of the game will be released.

Oh I'm not complaining about the change. I was just bit confused at this change as it seemed to come completely out of nowhere with no heads up at all.

Just adding a small bullet point in the newest blog post saying food buildings were always supposed to have a small pop cost but they were bugged until just now would have made this change much easier to understand and therefore handle.
