Stone age Hut upgrading time

Just curious, but are huts supposed to take so long to upgrade compared to all the other buildings you have in the stone age?

Because of how long they take to upgrade combined with the lack of a build queue/supply of paton's hammer's.(hopefully you'll make way more of those things quest rewards eventually[If you don't do something like let us queue at least 1 building for free])

I end up actively avoiding upgrading them compared to working on other buildings unless a quest makes me.

Admittedly these are just my thoughts. So what do other people think about the time required to upgrade them?

The more you have and the higher level you have them the quicker everything else is. I build them early and all the way up.
