Stuck in caves

I cannot find any stalactites to get through the broken ones.  I feel stupid or blind - maybe both.  I have clicked everywhere and only found 1.  Is there any screenshots on where to find them?  Help! 

I'm having the same problem. In the first cave I found with the broken stalagmites, I found them all with no problem. But since then, I have two more caves with broken stalagmites, and I can't find any in one cave and have only found two in the other - one tip I was able to place but I can't find where the other one goes.  And I'm pretty good at finding things - I was able to find all the horseshoes in three caves without too much trouble, plus the rock-a-holes and the switches for the floor traps, so I'm not exactly blind to hidden objects...  Very frustrating.  I feel like they aren't there to be found, or are behind things and impossible to see.  I have basically given up on them.

I am also having the same problem Tara. :( Sainttess pretty much summed up my situation. It's frustrating to say the least.
