The Caveman won't take my meat.

hey I've been playing this game for a while and i am stuck with the cavemen. They keep muttering about wanting meat and despite me having 4 pieces of Fresh Meat and me giving it to them, they wont acknowledge it and i am stuck on the same dialogues. Is there something i am doing wrong or is there something missing that i should do. or is this a bug?

You need to talk to the fisherman

I have I have found all of raw meat except for one I have even given up my animals in hopes to get raw meat and Have Nots I have talked to the fisherman so I need help of finding one piece of raw meat to get into the cave what am I missing

Did you kill Dendrogs?  And, you spoke to the fisherman and got a clue on how to bribe the cavemen to let you in?  Or did he just ask you for help in fishing?

In order to get past the cavemen you not only speak to the fisherman, but you must complete the fisherman quest. There are several pieces of meat to find at the Opposition Hideout location, (as Diana suggested fight dendrogs) but if you used those already trying to bribe the cavemen prior to completing fisherman quest then you are also able to obtain meat by slaying an animal within your domain. I suggest also for those who flip past dialogue in an attempt to move forward - read it carefully - in many cases there are clues given and quests awarded. 

There are ways to get the clues without having to talk to the fisherman. Most of the time there are multiple ways to do a quest.
