With the addition of the new continent. Will it be bale to interface with Jonberg. Meaning will we be able to trade, reinforce, join alliances, what have you and if so which way do we send our ships and explorers across the vast war of fog that has never been explored or our we now beta testing and additional server (physical or virtual) and they wont be working together. Or are the continents two realms.

Yes. With the proper research and once you have scouted and/or traded by ship with Jonberg, you will be able to scout and clear the fog around your domain and farther out to reveal the map, including other continents. In the meantime, you can join alliances either on Jonberg or Thorheim, establishing a potential outpost for a Jonberg-based alliance.

well right now trades between the two are not visible as far as I can tell. Also players on Jonberg that has done the research already with not able to trade to pinpoint a city would only see a sea of white as you can only clear edges of the fog of war. Do you know if anyone on Thorheim has been sent an alliance invite? Would also like to know the maximum size that an alliance can be. If it's maxed in Jonberg then a sister alliance would have to be started or a complete new one. Or the incorporation of being able to send and receive with coordinates could also need to be implemented as well.

You can't see Jonberg trades without the tech researched for the sea trade, which also requires a harbor town. If you have the tech researched and a trade is visible on the sea trade market you can trade with anyone listed there, providing you have enough trade ships. Once you accept a trade the town to which your ships are traveling will become visible on the map, most likely as a dot at first. When you make chaikas you can clear the fog back to Thorheim starting at that town, traveling over the open ocean. There is fog because you have not built chaikas to clear into deep water, and thus cannot see Jonberg's continental edges. Once you research the tech for chaikas you can sail into deep water and clear the ocean fog until you reach land. Alliance size depends on the level of diplomatic building in the leader's domain. With a level 10 mission the alliance can have a max of 10 members; with a level 10 consulate the alliance can have a max of 20 members; with a level 10 embassy the alliance can have a max of 30 members and the renaissance building will allow for 40 members at max level, if I am not mistaken. Alliances can span continents if they are large enough and potential members are "seen" for invites. When an alliance is full, a vassal alliance can be made, again, with the proper research completed. I have no idea if anyone on Jonberg has invited anyone from Thorheim to an alliance, but it's easily enough determined if you look at alliance listings brought up when you open someone's hero page and click on their alliance if they have one.

There isn't much trade activity on Thorheim of any kind, and I'm pretty sure no-one there has the tech for intercontinental trade. Nefret doesn't and she's #1 for number of techs. There are certainly alliances with members on both continents.

Ships and air traders can trade between continents.

I hadn't realised that Harbours could trade between continents. I have recently seen a couple of trades between Ambrosius's port Alexandria and ports belonging to heroes in Thorheim. Ambrosius has the medieval sea techs but I don't think anyone in Thorheim is out of Classical.

Even classical traders can travel between continents.
