Town Being Attacked

I thought when you built a new town, you had protection for a few days to build it up???  I just built a town yesterday and I has been attacked 4 times already!!  I don't even trust the Lydia Wand!!  This is ridiculous!!  I am Collectivism, they say that I am blocking their way to the sea, but how when there is a lot of room.  This is very discouraging as if I lose this town to attack, then I have to rebuild up my supplies to have enough to build another town.  Sorry had to complain somewhere.

I believe initial protection for new towns is like 3-4 hours. If you time this well with a Lada wards, that should give you a few days to build your city.

You're collectivism, so just focus building towers during that time. You don't know how painful it is for leaderism players with enemies nearby. I have seen many players lose their newly founded city because of a massive attack just after leaving protection. And believe me, it wasn't just about wiping enemy troops, but wiping enemy troops BEFORE they destroy all the buildings.Even with a nice defending army it's hard, because rams and catapults will attack every round, and you have to kill all the frontline units before you can get to them (or well, this was before we started getting greek fire)

Nevertheless, I have seen some leaderism players who managed to build around 10 arrow towers lv 5 in barely a day. As a collec only 5-6 towers of reasonable lv should be enough to make them regret it.

Catapults have only 24 charges, Rams have 40, they do not attack every round. Collectivism indeed is a perk on defense, new town truce lasts 3 hours, place a truce flag and wait 9 hours to build the new town.

This will give you plenty of time to build your defense up, towers are great and build them first, but do not forget to have military units from the other more developed towns.
