Windows 10 task bar refreshing very often which crashes game to desktop

Windows 10 got uploaded onto my laptop automatically,I had kept putting it off:( but there is a problem I am having in that the task bar is refreshing very frequently, and I either lose the bottom of the game screen or it crashes to the desktop. This is happening about every 65 seconds or so, so very frustrating, but I can at least get on the game and do things

Just wondered if anyone here has encountered the same problem with their windows 10 and what you did about it. Looked for solutions on the web and tried several but nothing is working:(

while this did not happen to me here at home one of our work computers had this problem. turned out to be the sound drivers. windows 10 had installed one because the existing was incompatible but it did not remove the old so there were two. It kept trying to use the bad one so every 60 sec refresh.

Thanks Tuey, will try that and see, this is my forth alpha, so you can imagine how frustrated I am:(

yes I would be crying if it were me

I have Windows 10 since last December, but I didn't choose the one which came with the updates, I bought it. All my relations had problems with the version from the updates and it's just for the first year free, then you have automaticly an abo. Mine works pretty fine, have no problems with the game nor with other programs.

Update Managed to delete windows 10 and go back to previous version, so now all is good with the game, thank goodness:)

That's good news, now the fun is back :)
