Items return on Beta 1 launch

Items return on Beta 1 launch

All items that were purchased with Enkord Cash consumed from the 1st of February 2018 until the wipe will be returned at Beta 1 launch, regardless of when the launch actually happens.

So far we do not have an exact date for Beta 1 deployment, but it is getting closer and closer. So we would like to encourage players to be more active and have more fun with this items return.

Some details about upcoming Beta 1 were given in previous news post.

Does this mean that the enkord cash used to purchase the items will be returned, or the items themselves, please?  Perhaps you could clarify?

Will we also have in our inventories any item purchased at any time, regardless of purchase date as we did in the past?

The items that were pursched with Enkord Cash will be returned, not actual Enkord Cash. Unspent items purchased with Enkord Cash will be carried over too.

well now your confusing me, as you know that is really easy to do.  The items purchased will be returned ie I spent cash on building speed ups and Patron Hammers, so the books and hammers are returned and not the cash amount?  Plus the items that say cash item and protected item are returned too. This is a bit different then I remember from other alphas where you just returned the cash I bought and the protected and cash items left over.

Did I get the general idea right?

And, just to clarify, any money in your account will still be there at the start. There will be no zeroing out of accounts, correct?

Also, does this work for anything bought in game as well, rather than going into the shop which is still not crediting me with purchasing items in terms of maintaining my discount?

Yes, unspent Enkord Cash will be carried over. Items that were purchased using Enkord Cash and not consumed will be carried over. Additionally items that were purchased using Enkord Cash and consumed after 1st of February will be returned on Beta 1 launch as if they weren't consumed so you will be able to consume them one more time after Beta 1 launch.

Hard to tell about discount, the discount most likely will be redesigned into something new and better on Beta 1 launch.

I would rather have Enkord cash rather than consumables because things needed to start a new game are different than you might use later in the game, such as arithometer, larger speed ups (70% and 12 hrs).  I don't need oil and electricity speedups when I don't have either of them.

I also vote to get the Enkord Cash back, since I will use Sandy Sue to start at Beta 1 (she will have some good stuff I hope to use) but all of my current stuff is under Timmer and Beerfairy. I would have to start both of them to move the items over to Sandy Sue. Then let them auto delete, thus losing the good starting boxes for both of those hero's.

Is there a way to consolidate hero accounts into one?  I have 2 Shalala accounts but will only use this current one for the Beta

No, there is no way to consolidate accounts and no, there won't be Enkord Cash refund instead of items, the system is changed because we need to make this automated, but on the bright side - in Beta 1 you will be getting item returns not only because of timed wipes, but even if you will be wiped by other players. This should motivate players to defend more actively, knowing that in worst case they will get 1 month of items back.

Will some things no longer be useable because of changes in the game?

What do you mean?

Will it be easier to move the items from one hero to another, or will it still be the one item at a time? If that is the case it will take me an hour to move everything from Timmer and Snooty over to Sandy Sue.

For now we don't have the option to mass-move items, sorry.

I have over 500  ++ items to move because I got a bad location, maybe you could come up with a way to mass move protected items.  This is a real PITA for me.

I will have to agree with Shalala, moving hundreds of items one at a time is so time consuming as well as having to delete all that info in personal reports one at a time, taking away time that can be better spent on the game itself. After awhile it starts feeling more like a job moving and deleting stuff than a game. imho
