monarchy corruption high..again

problems with monarchy after repeated trouble with game servers yesterday, today my corruption is back up to 40% with high losses for all towns.

corruption in my new monarch also seems high.  normally 6 close towns i would have minimal.  but now over 25% for the outer towns.  Has something changed?  my layout is not optimal, but no worse than my last hero who had almost 0 corruption for 6 towns.

One of my alliance members commented that her 8th town had somewhere around 56% corruption penalty and she is an experienced monarch with towns spaced no more than two cells apart (one empty cell between them).  She took down the 8th town as a result, but I always assumed the idea behind monarchy is to have as many as 8 towns with minimal corruption.

In my last hero (Hestia) also, when I tried to settle down my 6th town, which was also 1 cell away from Dwelling as all my other towns, my corruption in almost all towns got to more than 8% and one specific city was suffering with almost 50% corruption, I didn't thought of reporting it in that time, should've done that, but, it was really annoying, I choosed Monarchy to try and keep more towns  with less corruption and then, 6 towns and one of my towns had almost 50% corruption? If you ask me, I don't think it fits the description given to Monarchy. :p

Without screenshots all these reports are useless.

Today it bounced back to 40% corruption for no apparent reason. Losses at the moment are only in Lorraine, once I got rid of innovative studio.

I'm going with monarchy the first time,so i don't have any experience from previous rounds.

But it seems there is something we dont get really,as a befriended player builded pretty similar and have very different numbers. So maybe more pics can help to clarify:

Are these numbers like they are supposed to be?

In the case of Assassinetta, it is clear that something is wrong: Totemville is perfectly symmetrical to Torianth, just like Simgladel is to Rodebach, and yet they have different corruption, it's even worse than what I already reported that an overall closer town had a quite higher corruption than another one.

Maybe like another bug I reported, this is due to a mistake in programing because of how weird the system of coordinates adds differently in north-west to south-east axis compared to north-east to south-west axis ? It's very possible since you also made some programing mistakes about forgetting that 0 is the first digit and not 1.

As i said not ideal layout, but not bad.  Similar to my last monarch who only had corruption in 1 town after courthouse 9.  Now Dwelling 20% courthouse 9 and IV3 is 22% with couthouse 9..  and -all- towns have some level of corruption with courthouse max.

Your town placements are not optimal. Try to place them as circle, not oval for lower corruption. Corruption is calculated for each town, taking into account the distances to all other towns, this if you place one town a little bit off, it affects corruption of other towns significantly, especially if the number of towns is low, because it takes into account AVERAGE distance to all other towns. This way if you have 4 towns and one of them further that the others, it will impact them more than if you have 6 or more towns, etc.

Can you please make screenshots of Town food / lumber resource hint where we can see real values of resource losses due to corruption? (In case when you deside it is too high)

Also, after the next update, if hero has monarchy,  we will show in his info total corruption in current town (now it shows only affects from hero stats/equip)

As i can see from resource hint, losses due to inefficiency is 338, production is 6060, so, losses are about 5%, not 40% as described in hero info.
As i said, after the next update hero info will show actual value for current hero town.

Hope,

You can only see the correct information of the town your hero is in. So, if your hero is in another location or moving on the map, you see the corruption you would have if you were despot/collect.

If you want to check all towns, you need to move your hero around and then check the hero’s screen, once hero is inside the town. If you choose to do the maths, don’t forget you might have courthouses built.
