German Translation Project

Hello, I just looked at the document. As in modern English there is no difference between familiar and formal (it's always "you"), traductors are using the 2 forms in the same category of texts. I'm asked to verify 501-600 and there are the achievements. For ex. I see what you did there was translated with the familiar "Du", and the next one Perform a succesful spy with the formal "Sie". Which one want we prefer?

I would say formal is preferable, but it is based on declension of masculine and feminine nouns for Russian/Ukrainian languages where formal is universal and needs no other complications in realization but informal/familiar for man/boy or girl/woman needs different phrases construction.
I am not familiar with German to say what is the best. For the further discussion I advise to dive deeper in Discord server.

Ok for the formal form. Achievements are  rather for the player him / herself. Game dialogs (between game caracters and hero) may be different... I'm sure that Mr Thorn uses formal, but gypsies - maybe familiar ? I know a little bit russian (I think I can distingish formal and familiar), maybe it were possible to put the russian text too in the document? I don't know discord, but I'll look for it.

I cannot push your decision here. It's only up to you what variant is the best! And, by the wat, informal has most of the pro-voices here. So, if possible, for all who volunteered to proof-read the translation, please join discord channel, where we can discuss in details. I emailed another invitation for everyone in the team

Of course I will help with the translation into German language. I am playing the game since 2018.
