Your comment on the tech tree. I agree 100%. Rush rush rush to the next age to get minimal advantage vs prior era. This is not just for units tho, it's everything. Units, buildings, resource production, etc. And yes, Units become MUCH more expensive with a minimal gain vs prior eras if any gain. I personally would love to see a better balance and upscale for each age on everything.
But again, with that said, you can EASILY defend with the same amount of heros and win on defense. It's literally that easy. As you have witnessed defense already with your attacks. Regardless if they're 1v1 or 1v30 as you claim. 30v30 is just as possible. And your alliance should work together, you will see a huge difference. I thought i taught your leader better than that.
First, I just add my 5 cents to the tech tree problem. In my opinion units in later era
should have higher health points and also much more bigger difference in armor.
Now we have the situation, that the big cruiser (amour 13) have only a little more armor then Armored car (11) in my opinion it should
be more like with Broiler Dragon (armor 140) or even more. It will be stop the situation
where 10 ancient boat can sink the new tech boat, just because they have power
in numbers (nothing with level of technology)
It is the same (for example) like in the battlefield 20 crossbowmen meet 1 tank. They
should lose badly….but there they have chance to kill tank with no problem. The
tank should have so big armor, that prevent to be killed by “ancient” units
(like legionary or crossbowmen), and be vulnerable only by units from max 1-2 previous
That will give us more realistic battle, and also prevent from “stacking” army from stone
era to modern era in one attack (like it is now). Because now…even the brave or
legionary or first ram, can give the final hit to modern unit. With new (more
realistic) HP and armor parameters, there will be obsolete (like now we have obsolete
some building after the time).
We still have the 30 days rule…so that will give more pressure for technology grown (not
only area grown (for the global resources) like now. Because for now…you can
send 30 rams with 30 catapults and it is added simply to many units from
another 15-20 or 30 player). With realistic units parameter, real power gives
only that people who care about technology.
I agree with what you wrote –that is multiplayer game. In theory everything you wrote
is OK….but in reality look at the numbers of players on one server “country”
(like Abenia). Look how many alliances have more then 15-30 players with some
real firepower (you must taking in account 30 days rule) and at the end you
have some “oligopoly” few big alliances and some smalls as a easy pray. This
game is not so popular, to have hundreds of new player. Look that most of You
know from years and start to “marinate in own souse”. So in reality there is no
so much new player to build another 2-3 alliances to make “counterweight” to “old”
alliance (which are playing together like BF+ BF2 +FF).
