armies movement

when you send an army to an other town, to attack, to a place of interest or to a quest location, they always take food with them, enough food to go and return from that location, but they never return what they took from the storage when the travel was canceled, I think there is a way to calculate the food left with them and get it back to storage, I guess that is the best way because sometimes they take a lot and return nothing, when they only made few steps outside.

armies going for quest location have the necessary food to go to that location and go back from it, I guess there is no necessity to prevent players from sending their armies back after they reach half distance

when you posess an interpole, your armies movement is increased dependant on its level, but that's not the case when they return due to the lack of food where they were, the return has no speed ups thanks to the interpole

I wish these will be fixed or at least I get a respond to understand more of the game, and thank you !

Interpol should incease movement spead to and from destination.  So the info says:

Now, perhaps it checks for an interpol on the town you are returning to, not the town you sent from, IDK..  But certainly my return speeds seem faster with the interpol.  Are you saying it does not work?

try to put a few food in a quest location and send your army there, when thet finish all the food, they will return with no bonus speed at all, I tried it many times and I am sure of it.

by the way, it only increases land reinforcements, not units sent to attack a town

I wonder if it does not activate when armies are returning home due to lack of food in a quest location since the player is not actively returning them but the game is passively sending them home to keep from killing them off.  Units that ran out of food in quest locations used to die.  Maybe this is the price paid for allowing them to trudge home starving instead lol.

when they went out of town, their food consumption was calculated to go back with the boost, so that way they consume food you originally didn't give them ..

But there was no food in the town so presumably that which they took with them also got consumed so the boost becomes inoperative.  They don't use the boost when they are returned by the game due to starvation is what I'm thinking.  Only Bers can tell us though.  I sort of hope it's a bug to be honest.  I just wonder if it's not.

I am sure the food taken initially from the town is not consumed, I tried it several time already. and this way large armies can give their commander a way to consume less food since they return without speed bonus, while take food with speed on
