With monsters being fixed and me currently rebalancing the army and hero stats, we will need to do a small "wipe" soon. Because of monsters were weak for a long time since alpha 3 start, and in the beginning of alpha 3 they also spawned every 5 minutes some people have reached high levels very fast without trouble. Currently we are rebalacing hero system which will include hero power, exp requirements per level and so on. In order to see a proper picture and test it, we need to clean up things related to hero: - All heroes of all players will be reset to level 1, all experience earned will be nullified.
- Equippable items like swords and armor will be taken away as they improve hero stats.
- Naturally there will be weaker monsters spawning when you are at level 1 (starting from mushrooms)
- This will not influence your towns or country in any way, just your hero.
I know some people won't be happy about this, but this is test game and because of rebalance we need to start with heroes from blank.

how about dropping some extra 'figures of enlightenment', so the hero can be leveled without having to spend E1000 for each figure?

Curious as to why you’re filling the towns with monsters,
strong ones, if you’re going to put the heros back to level 1? There are more birdhouses showing up at 600
strength which I’m unable to beat even now.

When you made the monsters easier to fight, the strong monsters were reduced to the same health points as the new ones. Can't you do that again? if not, circumnavigating the strong ones will be a real problem.

My laptop died two weeks ago (graphics card, not hard drive, thankfully...) so I've been out of commission since then. Tried to re-download game to my dinosaur Windows 95 desktop, but for some reason it wouldn't open - seems like I got some sort of error message, but I don't remember what. Anyway, sounds like I've missed out on some new developments. I have a new computer coming this week and hope to be able to rescue my game from the old laptop. It'll be interesting to see what has happened in my towns that will have been sitting idle for more than two weeks by the time I get back up and running... I'll get my game back just in time to find my hero back at level one. Good thing I read this thread, or I would have wondered what the heck happened! :) Oh, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned all this - now everyone will attack me, since I'm helpless...

When are you going to reset Hero to lvl 1? Please do it sooner because the situation in my towns is awful - my Hero (lvl 15) and the whole army of hunters, braves, archers, pretorians etc (and many animals) - over 45 - is able to defeat only mushrooms and dendrogs without too much damage. I have resurrected my hero 6 times already and this costs time and resources, but meanwhile monsters grow in number! There are too much Muscards and their groups become too strong to defeat by the whole army. I can manage with difficulty bird houses and this costs me minimum a day restoring the dead units - I cannot catch up with the new monsters in all the towns at all. And now there are worms already!!! If you don't delete existing monsters in the hero update, fighting monsters becomes mission impossible. This is too frustrating for me.

I can't tell when. I will do that when battle and hero will be rebalanced and I don't know how much time it would take. What is the problem with monsters? You are not obligated to kill them.

They become too much if you don't kill them and when I transfer hero from town to town alone, she comes across them sometimes and gets killed - it happened twice already.

Maybe this is the principle, but it really happened to me and it took some time to understand why I sent the hero to reinforce a town and it disappeared somewhere on the road!

Next time pay more attention on the hero, I don't think it is possible for hero to trigger monsters when moving from other town.
