Will those mushrooms spawn after i kill the royal worms army?

Not necessarily, monsters spawned are equivalent to your hero level, but if town is full of worms, other monsters might not spawn until those are gone.

Ok, now as some time passed I would like to hear about your experience with new battle balance. Have you noticed any changes?

I know the catapults were weakened but it was not intented and they will be fixed in the next update. Anything else you noticed?

My archers still seem like the strongest of my troops, getting killed in lower numbers than even upgraded classical troops when fighting with the worms, etc.

Sorry about the lack of technical jargon.  I'm just doing a fly-by anecdotal type of post.

Archers are not the strongest, but ranged and placed behind other units, so if you have backup they will last until your front line fighters will be killed. Then they will die pretty fast.

In a home battle, my strongest allies (of course) are my towers and Greek fire. Sage towers are strongest (97.06) Greek fire is most effective against the siege weaponry (48.94), however they continue to weakly fight against foot soldiers (3.94). Centurions are strong against horses (19.63) Catapults do not ever record their target.

Against monsters, I have fought alien ants (muscards?), dendrogs, mushrooms. The muscards and dendrogs are similar in strength and results. Legionnaires and centurions are strongest, hitting 13.09 to 17.85. Praetorians are weak (3.22-3.94). Archers stand back and hit an average of 10 points each round, which could actually win the battle if there are enough of them. My lvl 7 hero "dies" and returns at end of battle, her strength against these monsters ranges from 26.26 to 29.63. She tends to heal her army and regenerate herself more than battle. :) If I bring my siege weapons, the greek fire is the only one that actually participates in the battle, with weak results similar to praetorians.

Keep in mind that damage deals is not the only stat. Health and defense determine how long they will be fighting.

I.e. unit dealing 20 points of damage per round by lasting 2 rouns is worse than unit dealing 5 points of damage but lasting 6 rounds.

Plundering with many rams and hero only takes more than 1000 rounds and 20 minutes

This is valid behavior as rams cannot plunder themselves, but can carry the load, so the hero is the only one who is plundering and filling up all the load rams can carry. Plunder speed is a distinct parameter, one day we will display it somewhere.

Ah.  Okay.  That makes sense.
Thanks.

So we should include the number of rounds played during the battle? Also, the mushrooms are all the same size and strength but the individual worms, dendrogs and muscards vary in strength and size. There would be a variance in effectiveness based on these facts as well? The reports do not reveal which monster took the damage. It is only a grey box.

Yes, battle reports could use some work, like numbering the units to see which one is where.
