What to do if the game does not run or connect.

Tried with uninstall / install and the game is still stuck on the Checking for Launcher Update. I am unable to get into the game since yesterday midday.  Running the game as administrator does not help. Since I could play it yesterday morning I think its not due to the security settings of my pc. Any other suggestions?

EDIT: just managed to get to the game update part by killing the Encore update agent in the task manager. Still a lot of time to get the update finished. Will keep you updated if it doesn't work.

Thank you for the fixes, I am able to get past the launcher update and play again (without any change in the past few days from my side (and all efforts in vain before), so apparently the fix helped it).

We just made some fixes in update agent, so you should

- close game launcher window
- (!) kill task "enkord update agent" in task manager (if it is launched)
- run game launcher again
or just reboot your PC and run game launcher.
We hope it will help.

I did this and finally got something different. Now it gives me an "initializing 99%" screen then tells me launcher cannot connect. :(

What caused that problem, is game was running fine before or no.. What is your PC configuration.. What exactly "EVERYTHING YOU LISTED" you have done.
We don't see any crash reports from you, so we have no clues.. And we don't have telepathic's abilities, so unless you describe you problem properly - we can't help you.
"Log.txt" file should be located at "C:\ProgramData\Enkord\Totem Tribe 2"
